About Jason Paul Barker

Jason Paul Barker grew up in the small town of Albany, Indiana and has made his home in Madrid, Spain since 1998, where he has worked as an English teacher, translator, freelance journalist, and online marketer. He has a degree in mass communications from the University of Denver. His debut short story collection, Guilt Trips, mixes settings from his native Midwest and his adopted home in Spain. His first novel, Beneath Madrid, released in May 2016, is a dark hybrid of psychological thriller and mystery.
